Christian Galang champs 72nd Rapid Chess
Christian Valderrama Galang, a 3rd year High School Southie, won first place during the 72nd Rapid Chess Tournament held at Blue Knights Chess Club in Bonifacio St., Davao City last June 18, 2011. He competed along with other 9 chess players from other schools.
Reaching One Pinnacle Of Success
It was the summer of year 2009 when the principal of Southpoint School was invited by then Mr. Manny Vallejo (now a Doctor of Education in Educational Management) invited the former to join a seminar on “Authentic Assessment”.
